Computer aided manufacture (CAM) plays a vital part in modern manufacturing processes. We have a large selection of the very latest CNC machinery on site which enables us to produce parts on demand to extremely high standards.

We're able to offer a very wide range of precision machining services from special one-off's to batch runs. We can provide full 3D profiling in almost all materials including hardened steel, and also offer a number of post processes including hardening and tempering, stress relieving, chroming, anodising and powder coating.

In order to produce parts CAM data is generated directly from the original design on the CAD station, the data is then sent directly via ethernet to the CNC machine. This direct un interrupted process gives the CAM data a high level of integrity. Our skilled operators then carry out setting and running procedures.

We have 3 large capacity CNC machining centres, the biggest of which has a machining envelope of 3.4m x 2.5m x 800mm. Recently we also have just invested in 4 brand new Mikron machining centres which give us even greater capacity over smaller part production. CNC Turning is also employed as part of automated production, this enables us to give parts secondary processes which are not achievable via conventional machining methods.

We constantly monitor and utilise the latest developments in cutting tool technology, ensuring we are able to achieve the fastest metal removal rates and exact levels of accuracy. Please see our plant list for more details on our machining capacity.
